Core Concepts

Reports

Your bot can generate professional reports relevant to your industry. Just ask in plain English and your bot handles the research, formatting, and delivery.

How Reports Work

When you ask your bot to generate a report, it uses its skills and integrations to gather data, compile the information, and produce a formatted document. The type of reports available depends on the skills configured for your bot.

Natural language

Just describe what you need. Your bot will determine which skill to use and generate the report automatically.

Data-driven

Reports pull from real-time data sources, your connected integrations, and your bot's knowledge base to provide accurate, up-to-date information.

Saved automatically

Generated reports are saved in your bot's documents. You can access them any time from the Documents panel or by asking your bot.

Generating a Report

Generating a report is as simple as asking for one. Your bot will confirm the details and let you know when it's ready.

YouGenerate a suburb report for Richmond VIC 3121.
BotStarting the suburb report for Richmond VIC 3121. This usually takes a minute or two. I'll let you know when it's ready.
BotYour suburb report is ready. Would you like me to email it to someone, or would you like to review it first?

Tips

  • Be specific with your request — include names, addresses, dates, or other relevant details.
  • Specify the report type if your bot has multiple report skills.
  • You can ask your bot to modify or regenerate a report if the first result isn't quite right.

Sending Reports by Email

If you have Google or Microsoft connected, you can ask your bot to email a report directly. The email is sent from your account.

YouEmail the Richmond report to david@example.com.
BotI'll send the suburb report for Richmond VIC 3121 to david@example.com. Shall I add a note to the email?
Note: Your bot will always show you what it's about to send and ask for confirmation before any email is sent.

Accessing Past Reports

All reports are saved automatically. You can find them in two ways:

Documents panel

Open the Documents panel from the room header to browse all your bot's files, including generated reports.

Ask your bot

“Find the report you generated yesterday” or “Show me the Richmond suburb report.”
